Improve your SG & make new friends amid the skyline of America’s “Second City”
In your spare time while attending ASGA Chicago, visit America’s oldest zoo, check out the Monets and other masterpieces at the Art Institute of Chicago, or try a slice of heaven at one of Chi-town’s renowned deep-dish pizza joints. Unwind at a blues club or comedy show to channel your inner Blues Brother, grab a Chicago-style hot dog and a pop from a street vendor, or witness breathtaking views from the top of the Willis or John Hancock Towers.
Student Government officers, members, and advisors from colleges and universities of all types and sizes, joining from more than a dozen states. Very evolved, strong SGs. New SGs just starting out. SGs trying to improve. Public universities. Private colleges. Community colleges. Large schools. Small schools. Any SG leader from any school, no matter what state you’re from, is welcome to attend.
20 intensive workshops & roundtables, plus private consulting by appointment. Sessions are designed for every level of Student Government β evolved and strong, brand-new, or somewhere in between β and led by experienced speakers who are all former SG leaders or advisors themselves. Built-in time to network with other SG leaders and advisors, plus plenty of free time to enjoy the Windy City.
The conference is being hosted at North Park University, 3225 West Foster Avenue, Hamming Hall, Chicago, IL 60625. Visitor parking is free, located at the Foster & Kedzie Parking Lot, 5141 N. Kedzie.

Because your Student Government deserves better! Don’t accept:
- Voter turnout so low it’s embarrassing
- Officer and committee positions no one wants to fill
- Students who don’t know your SG exists
- Administrators who don’t take you seriously
- Meetings that accomplish nothing
- A budget you don’t know how to spend
- Officers who leave office having changed nothing
- Average grade of 4,000 SGs nationwide: D-
- Average grade of SG web sites nationwide: F
You can do better. Every SG can. ASGA has spent decades helping student governments across the nation go from overlooked to indispensable. The knowledge, tools, and inspiration you’ll get at this conference will change how you lead β and what your SG can accomplish.
